Antique Zanesville Matt Green Wall Pocket Vase

$120.00

Pottery History Lesson : In 1898 Roseville purchased Clark Stoneware Company In Zanesville Ohio. The Zanesville plant produced utilitarian painted wares. In 1900 Ross Purdy was hired and introduce there signature slip glaze standard, Rozane. This piece is easy on the eyes. It is soft and touchable. It is lustrous without being flashy. Im guessing that is exactly what Mr Purdy was looking for. This pocket vase would look great anywhere.
