Antique woven tapestry
Antique woven tapestry is a thing of beauty, this piece is no exception. Absolutely stunning, gold threads are woven through and the reds and blues pop. I did do some testing of this piece, it is of course all natural fibers. I am not certain what fibers however. Wool ,flax, silk cotton, all of the above. This piece is very old and worn in spots. I have a million ideas on how to use this fabric. Here are a couple of them: journal cover,specal alter cover, addition to a jacket as appliqués decretive square in a frame to set a midevil vibe…inspiration overflows when I gaze upon this scrumptious fabric.
